Praeses has provided Georgia Department of Corrections (“GDC”) with independent and objective offender communications consulting, management, oversight, and reconciliation services since 2013. Following the inception of Praeses’ relationship with GDC, Praeses has assisted with Request for Proposal (RFP) processes, contract drafting and negotiations, vendor payment processing, vendor transitions, hardware installations, day-to-day contract management services, and FCC regulatory changes. Lastly, Praeses’ consultative expertise and contractual compliance has allowed for assistance in drafting an offender communications RFP designed to bring in a full suite of revenue generating technologies while also allowing Praeses to provide proactive customer service to the GDC facilities, including assistance in call completion, end user account creation, identification and resolution of repair issues, and research of offender requests.
